KEYS

Got this weird message during apt-get update: W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net maverick Release: The following signatures couldn’t be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 61260473F9D8BC54
It looks like somewhere something had changed, so new keys had to be fetched. There are 2 ways for doing this:

knilluz@px:~$ sudo su
root@pc:~# sudo gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 61260473F9D8BC54

output:
gpg: requesting key F9D8BC54 from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: key F9D8BC54: public key “Launchpad mediainfo” imported
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg:               imported: 1  (RSA: 1)

And then:

root@pc:~# sudo gpg --export --armor 61260473F9D8BC54 | sudo apt-key add -

output:
OK

The second method is:

knilluz@pc:~$ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 61260473F9D8BC54

output:
Executing: gpg –ignore-time-conflict –no-options –no-default-keyring –secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg –trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg –keyring /etc
/apt/trusted.gpg –primary-keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv 61260473F9D8BC54
gpg: requesting key F9D8BC54 from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: key F9D8BC54: public key “Launchpad mediainfo” imported
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg:               imported: 1  (RSA: 1)

And finaly an update:

knilluz@pc:~$ sudo apt-get update
